Can I Get A Buy-To-Let Mortgage As A First Time Buyer?

You can get a buy-to-let mortgage as a first-time buyer, but lenders may limit your options.

Lenders will sometimes need you to own your own residential property, with some requiring this for at least six months, before they are able to offer you a buy-to-let mortgage. Others will just need you to own a property — this could be another buy-to-let property, for example.

First-time buyers who don’t currently own a property will have limited mortgage options, although some lenders may be able to assist. To find out if BEST4LET can help you, contact our team today at 0800 587 1008 or 0191 233 0567.
